John Aravosis is Now theThought Police?

[Update] 7/26/07- I am placing this update on top because it is GREAT. The Bill O'Reilly banned Aravosis from their site. GOOOOOOOOD. Now, below, we show you the silliness that Aravosis called "threats" he found on O'Reilly's site. Today though, he misrepresents those supposed threats by quite a bit.

I am going to show you what he says today, then you scroll through this post, which was written yesterday, where I copied, word for word, what he claimed those threats were yesterday.

Apparently threatening to take a gun to Hillary Clinton and suggesting we burn down the US Capitol building is okay to post on Bill O'Reilly's Web site, but complaining about those terrorist and assassination proposals gets your banned. Which brings into question just how serious Bill O'Reilly is about the death threats being posted on BillOReilly.com since an attempt to find those threats is cause for being banned. Where's your free speech now, Bill?

Taking a gun to Hillary? Now lets see what was actually said that dear Johnny boy is lying about.

If Hillary wins, I will be respectful of our leader. If you could read my thoughts, I would be on the SS [Secret Service] watch list.

Nope. No mention of a gun anywhere to be found. Just another example of a member of the far left lying and stomping his feet and hoping that nobody will call him on his lies.

I would have banned his ass too, because of his imagined threats, one of his little buddies decided to call and waste the Secret Service's time and money to report those NON threats.

Just another day in the idiocy that is the far left liberal.

[End Update]

7/25/07 post starts here.

Every once in a while I see something via memeorandum that stops me short, then produces a fit of giggles that I cannot control.

AmericaBlog trying to compare comments made on Bill O'Reilly's site to the hate filled venom over at DailyKos, is one of these times and shows that he seems to think he is the "thought Police"

His examples:

And with no further ado, examples of BillOReilly.com's threats against Hillary.

Another example he shows:

As a woman, i would open the door for her.....now, if there was nothing on the other side but empty space and a 50 foot drop into a moat filled leeches and (gulp) rats...well, I can't be held responsible.

Lets start with the first one because I see the that this person would treat Hillary, if elected, with respect no matter what her personal thoughts about Hillary may be.

That is considered threatening? I think Aravosis is grasping at straws here.

First off, this women shows a class I rarely if ever have seen on liberal sites such as his, they do not nor do they even attempt to show "respect" for the office of President or the Vice President.

I see no threat in the second example either.

Yet, missing from his commentary are sites like Huffington Post where the writers actively WISH for the Vice president's death:

I give thanks O Lord for Dick Cheney's Heart, that brave organ which has done its darn-tootin' best on four separate occasions to do what we can only dream about.
Go read the rest of that little prayer.

Thats not just a "thought" which are private things but it was PUBLISHED as a Thanksgiving day prayer.

LGF has done an excellent job of documenting things over at DailyKos, one particular one about "Gassing Joseph Lieberman".

Don’t insult dogs like that

Given a choice between my dog and Lieberman, I’d gas him without thinking twice.

It’s too bad when people

use animal references to derogate people with. Animals are not deserving of these kinds of insults!

Sharon , jeez

I know you didn’t mean it that way, but a reference to gassing a Jew needs to be hidden.
I hope you will join me in asking that this comment be hidden and that there will not be a pile on.
I will find some other comments of yours and uprate to make up for this.

Oh please

You’re being a bit hypersensitive and PC here. Dogs get gassed at animal shelters every day. I can name a bunch of other politicians I’d gas over my dog.

That is a few examples of hate speech to be found on liberal sites, one reason, I rarely visit them and only do so for examples in some of my posts.

I will also say, it IS hard to moderate all comments, especially when they start coming a mile a minute, but this is the rule and not the exception over at Kos and one has to wonder at the gall of Aravosis to compare some of the comments from O'Reilly's site to those rabid venomous hate filled speech at Kos.

Go on through the LFG archives regarding the DailyKos site and see if you agree, that Aravosis will have alot of "policing" to do on his side of the aisle before daring to try it on ours.

The writer of AmericaBlog would do well to try to "police" the thoughts of his fellow hatefilled liberal sites before even attempting to criticize others.

[Update] News From the Left actually, after reading Aravosis paranoid delusions, called the Secret Service to report a "threat". I would love to be a fly on the wall of the SS office as they laugh their asses off at News From the Left!!!!!!!

if they really think this will be investigated as a real threat, well I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell, any takers?

OMG. Giggle fit again!!!!

Okay, rant over and back to regularly scheduled programming.
