Four Cops Forcibly Strip And Pepper Spray Woman (Video)

 In the very disturbing video below we see a case that has been highlighted and is going national.  A woman, Tabitha Gentry, arrested on a misdemeanor is forcibly stripped naked by four cops in Indiana, left in a holding cell, then pepper sprayed when she started banging on the door pleading for her clothes back. 


 The original video was released by the woman's attorney and the actions of the police department are being defended as normal procedure, by an Indiana sheriff.

The video shows Gentry in a jail cell with four officers, and two of them are male. After Gentry tries to stand up, the officers take her to what the jail called a “padded room.”

“Almost immediately upon entering the jail, she’s assaulted by four officers. They grab her around the neck, they grab her body,” Landenwich explained. “They hold her down… There are two male officers and two female officers and they forceably remove her pants, her shoes, her underwear and her shirt and bra.”

“Terrified and humiliated, she’s banging on the door asking someone to give her her clothing and someone comes to the door and says, ‘If you don’t shut up, I’m going to pepper spray you,’ and sure enough, they open the door, spray pepper spray into the room and they leave — and they leave her in there for 40 minutes, naked, in a cell filled with pepper spray.”

Officials at the Floyd County Jail, where this incident occurred, then gave her just a blanket before taking her out through the booking area, where anyone there could see her, to wash her eyes out, before returning her to the cell and leaving her naked, with just the blanket, for another five hours.

Police Chief: US Heading Towards ‘Police State’ (Videos)

I ran across a piece at This Can't Be Happening,  that is disturbing to say the least, where not only are police shootings of unarmed civilians discussed, so is the militarization of our local police forces in the US, with statistics that should drop the jaw of anyone reading it.  While those statistics tell a story, perhaps the most damning statements about the US becoming a police state comes from the Chief of Police in Upper Dublin, PA., Terrence Thompson, who states that he understands the need for more powerful weapons to counter the weapons now used by criminals, but points out how SWAT, for example, is being used in a manner that it was not created for and how high powered weapons are being utilized in situations where there is no need. Chief Thompson also lets the public know exactly where he sees the US heading:

Thompson decries what he calls “camo creep” in policing, a trend he says is at least partly driven by “politicians who don’t see where this is going.”
And where is that?
“I don’t like the idea of a police state, but that’s where we seem to be heading,” he says.

My only disagreement with Chief Thompson would be that we are not heading towards being a police state, as the videos below clearly show, we are already there.

YouTube is full of videos showing this police state mentality, I wrote about this just the other day where a Nazi-like cop was busted lying on her "officer narrative," after multiple footage captured by the family she abused became public.
 
Another example can be seen with the recent total FAIL of the NYP in their Twitter campaign #myNYPD which was meant to show how much NY citizens loved their police force, but which backfired spectacularly when user after user started posting images, videos and statements about NYPD's police brutality, as discussed in the first video below at the 1:20 minute mark.

For the record, I believe wholeheartedly there are many, many more good cops vs bad cops, to put it simply, but these examples shown below make it harder for those "good guys," because the brutality and abuse by the bad cops endanger the lives of those that truly did join to serve and protect.

7 Cops Watch Man Die Then In Frenzied Craze Beat Dead Body (Graphic Video)

While there are many hardworking, brave police around the US, there are also the examples shown below of cops completely out of control, beating handcuffed suspects with billy clubs and fists, kicking suspects while they are down and in one case, 7 cops watching a man die then in a "frenzied craze' beat the dead body.

We, as a country, criticize other countries brutality against their citizens but in the video compilation below we see that we definitely shouldn't be throwing stones while we live in our little glass houses.

Anglo American governments created police force in 1829. Rome did not have any police. No past empire ever policed humans and imprisoned people for being angry or for being on drugs or mentally ill. Russia and China do not imprison people for social behavior or being poor. The American police state is almost perfected. The only thing left is the mark on your forehead.

Cop Throws 110 Lb Woman Into Cement Bench Shattering Her Face (Video)

In the disturbing video below, we see an Illinois cop, Michael Hart, throw a 110 lb woman, Cassandra Feuerstein, 47, who was arrested back in March for DUI, face first into a cement bench in her jail cell, shattering her face. The cell door is open, Ms. Feuerstein goes out, presumably after ebing called out, to call her husband and within seconds is pushed back in and thrown against the cell's cement bench.

The remainder of the video shows the officers assisting her as she bleeds all over the floor.

Ms. Feuerstein has filed a lawsuit against the Skokie Police Department for excessive force.

Police Brutalize Downed Man, Beating With Billy Club, Tasing Etc... (Video)

This video was found on YouTube, uploaded by Geordy Ford, with the only detail listed as "This was filmed by a friend earlier today." (Dated September 3, 2013)

Reading the comments, they listed a phone number to call and complain, using Google search, it appears to be the City Of Long Beach, CA. general information number (562) 570-7260.

One person in the comments says "The police told me he was high on PCP and wouldn't follow orders."

At one point in the video there are more than six cops standing there while the police brutality occurs. Tasing the man while he is on his back on the ground, beating him brutally with a billy club while it was obvious the man was no danger to them anymore if he was at all to begin with.

Shame On The French Police Viral Video Sparks Outrage (Video)

Prosecutors in central France have launched a probe after a video (below) was posted online showing a police officer beating a woman with a baton, and spraying tear gas directly into her face during an arrest. The video has sparked outrage among viewers.

The video is named "Honte a la police francaise," which translates to "Shame on the french police," and was uploaded to YouTube on August 18, 2013 and has garnered, as of this moment, 1,941,593 views.

PA Cop Indicted For Stomping Handcuffed Man In The Head (Videos)

Kelly Cruz, a veteran Pennsylvania state trooper, has been federally indicted on civil rights charges for allegedly stomping on the head of a handcuffed suspect while he was face down on floor in a 2009 arrest. The injuries sustained to the suspect, Zachary Bare, then 22 years old, are listed as a broken nose, fractured bones and knocked out teeth.

Two years ago, a state grand jury had refused to indict Cruz. In 2012 Bare and Cruz reached an out-of-court settlement over a lawsuit Bare had filed in the matter.

If convicted, Cruz could face up to ten years in prison.

A search on YouTube for PA police brutality brings up an amazingly high number of examples.

One of the worst examples found is shown the video below, where five Pennsylvania state troopers were caught on their own police dash cam beating a hit-and-run suspect, a year ago.

Galveston Police Brutality Caught On Cam, Man Sues Galveston (Video)

A La Marque man has filed a lawsuit against the City of Galveston after he said he was badly beaten by police officers in March, using the dash cam video as his proof of police brutality, shown in the video below.

The video shows multiple police officers beating on one man on the ground at the beach, kicking him in the face and punching him while his head was under water.

 The victim,Reginald Davis, says "I thought I was going to die. My head was underwater. I couldn't breathe."

On Monday, Chad Pinkerton, Davis' attorney, filed a lawsuit against Galveston police officers Jose Santos and Archie Chapman saying they used excessive force, stating "If you evade arrest they can capture you and they can stop you. That's what they had to do. They can do that. But they can't beat you. They can't attempt to drown you."

Update On Police Beating A Woman- Extended, Unedited Footage Released (Graphic Disturbing Video)

On Wednesday, August 7, 2013, I wrote an article about two Quad Cities police officers who attacked and beat a female shoplifter who was sitting in a store's security office. The video shown was 2 minutes, 11 seconds, and now a complete version, unedited has been released of that beating.

Keep in mind the cops in the video are still on the job, after some unspecified disciplinary action.

Decide for yourself after watching the entire beating if these so-called men should be allowed to continue to wear a badge.

Just as concerning is the fact that her little girl was in the room for the beginning of the beating before a woman grabbed the child and took her out, but two other people were in the room, a woman and a man, neither of which tried to intervene and stop these two abusive cops.

The video below is highly disturbing to watch and the incident in question starts at the 4 minute mark.

Cops Beat Female Shoplifter - Caught On Camera (Video)

Despite all the honest, good cops out there, recently there has been a slew of police brutality instances caught on camera, as is the example shown in the video below.

Brandie Redell, 34, was admittedly shoplifting, was caught and brought to the security offer where two Quad Cities police officers were present. Rendell was on the phone and the cop rushes over to her, pushes her down and proceeds to start beating her.

Rendell's infant daughter was in the room at the time.

The brutal beating was so bad the woman was left with an eye injury that has permanently left her vision impaired.

Via the video details: Reason.com reports that Redell called her boyfriend asking him to pick up their daughter, when the officer heard Redell's boyfriends' name, he told Redell, "This is going to get ugly quick."

Redell's boyfriend, James Gibson, is a "community activist who had some some sensitivity training with the department when it comes to race and officers dealing with the public," according to Reason.

It is very clear from the video below that the woman was sitting on the other side of the room and it was the police that approached her, knocked her to floor then the cops can be seen punching her over and over.

Davenport police chief, Frank Donchez claims that after an investigation into the incident, "discipline was handed out," and the two officers are now back on the job.

No details on what that discipline involved.

'Police Brutality On My Family' From Dekalb County Sheriffs Department (Disturbing Video)

At the beginning of the video below, titled "Dekalb County Sheriffs Department Police Brutality On my Family," the video camera is running as police pound on the door of this family, as the family calls 911  asking for a supervisor to come because they were scared of the aggressiveness of the police outside their door.

20-25 minutes later the supervisor still had not arrived, so the family decided to open the door.

After they opened the door and the police stormed in, the camera goes dark, but unbeknownst to the Dekalb County Sheriffs Department officers, the audio is still running.

The police id have an arrest warrant for the mother, did not tell them why they were there when asked, nor when they handcuffed the family members.

From the YoutTube video description of what can be seen and heard on the video below:

"My brother, mother and myself all went to the door and let the sheriffs know that we were going to open the door and come out.

My mother opens the door and steps out and says "I'm a Christian woman don't hurt my family" she was immediately hand cuffed.

The remainder of the sheriffs then entered my house and attacked me and my brother. One of the sheriffs drew a weapon and struck me with it on the head.

As I am laying facedown on the floor I am repeatedly kicked in the head and back and one of the sheriffs stood on my head with both feet.

The other sheriffs at this point are attacking my brother and threatening to Taser him if he says anything else.

It this point both myself and my brother are both pleading with the sheriffs to stop and asking why are we being handcuffed.

The sheriffs that entered my house entered illegally, I found out after they left from a family friend that they were here on an arrest warrant for my mother.

If that is the reason they were here, once they arrested my mother when she was outside, they had no reason to enter my home.

They did not have a search warrant."

When Sargent Magee was asked by a family friend why this happened he responded "we did this because they made a scene filming us."

Watch the video below and determine for yourself whether the actions of the police were appropriate or over-the-top and abusive, as the person recording it and who wrote the description claims.

It's not often I find myself saying much about law enforcement abuse. It's very seldom I find myself siding with the ACLU on ANYTHING.

When a decorated war hero is attacked by law enforcement officers simply for asking questions that puts me in company with strange bedfellows. What happened to Sgt Mark England in Las Vegas goes above and beyond police abuse.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Assault American Hero at McCarran Airport
