As the Japanese government passes their gag order by force, physically restraining lawmakers as they railroad through a bill that would make it a crime to divulge "inappropriate" information, including just how bad the Fukushima nuclear plant situation really is as it spews radiation by air towards the U.S and Canada and contaminates the Pacific ocean causing high levels in radiation in Tuna, Canada's herring kill and making pilot whales go silent, among other sea life issues, Denis Campbell, Editor-In-Chief of UK Progressive Magazine, joins David Pakman to discuss the Fukushima nuclear disaster and radiation reaching the US.
One of the points he makes is that no one needs to exaggerate the global damage and ramifications of the Fukushima disaster because the "truth is scary enough," but another equally valid point is the distinction between the radiation the US West Coast and Canada is seeing now and the 'big plume,' which some consider the massive death plume, that has not even hit the US yet and is expected in 2014 and some say possibly even 2015.
