Blogger Shootout, all done for the troops who are out there fighting for you. The second they sign up, they are willingly stating they will lay their lives on the line for you, so... let us get to what this is.
Want to do something that will show your appreciation and make a real difference for the troops?
You can help make the daily routine of our troops serving in Afghanistan and Iraq a little more bearable and thank them for their services all at the same time.
We've heard from countless members of the Armed Forces serving in the Middle East about items that the military does not provide, are hard to come by and they really appreciate getting . That's why Move America Forward has responded and compiled care packages that contain these goods as a way of saying "thank you" for their sacrifices and courage. Care packages are packed full of gourmet coffee, Oreo cookies, Jelly Belly jelly beans, high-quality beef jerky, trial mix, Gatorade, deodorant, Chap Stick, sun block, CDs and much more.
Most importantly, each care package will include a personal message written by you where you can express your gratitude to our military. This is done through the order form by putting your message in the Comments box. Along with your message will be included a "self-addressed" envelope for the troops to send you a Thank You note if, and when, they have time. This is done through the order form by putting your address in the Ship To field. Rest assured that all care packages are sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Move America Forward is a 501(C)3 so all care package donations are tax deductable.
Care Packages include mostly Coffee, Oreo Cookies, lip balm, beef jerky, deodorant, trail mix, Gatorade, CDs and Jelly Beans but could include any or all of the following:
Boca Java Coffee
Painted Hills Beef Jerky
Planters Trail Mix
Ocean Spray Craisins Trail Mix
Candy Diplomacy Jelly Belly Jelly Beans

Wake up America asked to be placed on any team that needed more bloggers and the team chosen was Team COINS:
Move America Forward is proud to announce our first blogger competition! This blogger competition is for blogs that want to go all out in support of our troops, and it is now open to anyone in the blogosphere who wants to participate.
TO PARTICIPATE E-MAIL: email@example.com
By posting banners, writing about the Troopathon, and encouraging readers to donate and sponsor care packages, you can help Move America Forward reach its goal of sending the largest shipment of care packages to the troops in HISTORY. At the same time, you can also earn bragging rights for out-raising other bloggers!
Participation is simple: join a team, pick a banner ad from our Media Kit or use a hyperlink, post the banner ad to your blog, link the banner to the Troopathon care package order form using the special link we will provide, and then your team will receive credit for every care package your readers sponsor! Each day, at 4 pm PST, we will tally every team's total care package sales and update this page with the current results.
Bloggers will split into teams, and each team will have a team captain who will formulate their team's strategy for outselling the competition.
The competition will end on June 25th at 7 pm PST--during the Troopathon webcast! We will select the winner based upon which team raised the most money for care packages, and we will announce the winner LIVE during the Troopathon.
