Reid Claims He Won't Rubber Stamp Obama

Talk is cheap and time will tell but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid claims he will not rubber stamp Barack Obama when he takes the White House, according to an article in The Hill.

Democrats must be “very, very careful” to avoid overreaching and will not rubber-stamp President-elect Obama’s policies, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Tuesday.

Then Reid gets tough (like he really knows the meaning of the word) and says "If Obama steps over the bounds, I will tell him. … I do not work for Barack Obama. I work with him."

Yeah, I bet Barack Obama is shaking in his boots about now.
