It was reported last month that investigators would call off its search for Madeleine McCann, but recent footage is being sent to the United states to be enhanced after a bank security guard saw a woman and a child and believed the child to be Madeleine.
Madeleine McCann went missing on May 3, 2007 from a resort of Praia da Luz in the Algarve, Portugal, just days before she was to turn 4 years old. She is still missing but a recent sighting has investigators delving into the case once again.
CCTV shows the grainy image that cameras caught of the woman and child that rose the suspicions of the security guard and the U.S. is set to mark it as a high priority to enhance the image to determine if it is Madeleine.
Madeleine's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, have also been shown the photo to see if they recognized the child as their daughter.
The security guard is said to "convinced" that the child he saw was the missing little girl and according to an unnamed source, via The Sun, "The guard thought something weird was going on and noted the time. When he saw a photo of Maddie next day, he was sure it was her and called the police."
The report says that there have been "107 reports linking Madeleine with Belgium and Holland."
