Cop Loses It At Checkpoint Against Citizen That Knows His Rights

By Susan Duclos via, All News PipeLine

Fast forward to the 3:30 minute mark in the video below, which is filed at a checkpoint in DeKalb, Illinois, when a man films two police officers approaching him in his car, when the videographer, Ryan Scott, first imforms them that he is filming, then proceeds to state his constitutional rights, and while one cop is attempting to handle the situation calmly, the other simply loses it, throws open the car door and starts ranting at the Scott.

Via Scott's Facebook page he describes the incident in detail:

I was just stopped at an unconstitutional CHECKPOINT in DeKalb, Illinois. This was Illinois State Police conducting the unconstitutional searches. You won't believe how this just went down! I completely forgot to ask for name and badge number because this guy scared the shit out of me. He was not aware that he was being recorded when he ripped my door open. Unbelievable! This kind of misconduct and behavior is not acceptable. This is what happens when you exercise your Constitutional Rights as a law abiding American citizen. This incident ironically occurred on "Thank a police officer day". Share the hell out of this and make this video go viral!

DeKalb police have a long history of improper conduct as was highlighted by me in August of 2013, with another video of over-the-top and abusive behavior against a whole family, that was caught on video in July 2013, which will shown as a reminder in the second video below.

Furthermore, the Atlanta Independent Media Center published an in-depth piece in July 2012 regarding the history of the DeKalb police department, titled "Dekalb County Has a Serious Cop Problem."

After reading the article linked above and seeing both videos, this most recent one and the one from 2013, we have to ask ourselves....... is this America or is this now the new America "Police State USSA?"
