Man Shoots 3 Year-Old In Road Rage Incident

By Susan Duclos

According to South Houston Police Chief Herbert Gilbert, a man, in a road rage fit, fired shots at an SUV that passed him after noticing he was weaving in and out of traffic and driving erratically. The first shots were reportedly shot into the air, then when both vehicles stopped for a red light, the man fired directly at the SUV, hitting the 3 yr-old child sitting in back of the car.

The toddler was taken to Bayshore Hospital where she is in stable condition. She is expected to make a full recovery. Her parents were not injured in the attack.

Police believe the gunman was driving under the influence.
