Syria Will Strike Turkey, Jordan And Israel, Threatens Deputy Foreign Minister (Videos)

By Susan Duclos

Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister, Faisal al-Mekdad, is warning that in retaliation for any U.S. led military attack against Syria, they will strike Turkey, Jordan and Israel as he warned Turkey to "think twice" about participating in any attack against Syria.

"We believe that any attack against Syria will definitely result in chaos in the entire region, if not beyond," he said.

This echoes what U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry admitted himself during Senate hearings before the Democratically led U.S. Senate approved a military attack against Syria when asked what happens if this gets away from us.

Kerry's response was that if Syria retaliates and basically doesn't just sit back and do nothing if U.S. led forces starting bombing the hell out of Syria, then a whole host of countries would become involved (Video of Kerry's comments here).

Many believe that is exactly what is going to happen and that it will kick off a regional war possibly sparking World War 3.

In the meantime, like Americans  protesting against the U.S. striking Syria, the people of Turkey are also protesting against their government participating, yet they will be the ones suffering when the Assad regime retaliates against those attacking their country.
