Egypt's ousted president, Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi, the former leader backed by the Obama administration has been indicted for inciting murder and will be tried for the deaths of opponents protesting outside his palace while he was in office.
14 other Muslim Brotherhood members, including top aides and leading members of his political party, will be tried along with Morsi for inciting his supporters to kill at least 10 people, use violence and unlawfully detain and torture protesters.
No date for the trial has been announced as of yet.
The military ousted Morsi on July 3, 2013, after millions took to the streets demanding that he step down.
Via the details from the video below:
Earlier in July, a court in the Arab country ordered Morsi's detention over allegations of collaboration with Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
Morsi was due to be questioned on whether he collaborated with Hamas in attacks on police stations and prison breaks in early 2011, when he and some members of the Muslim Brotherhood escaped from jail during a revolution against the regime of former dictator, Hosni Mubarak.
No word on whether charges will be forthcoming on that situation.
