Georgia State University (GSU) has a Black Student Alliance, website found here. GSU has a Latin American Student Association, Facebook page found here.
Yet a white student at GSU, Patrick Sharp, is organizing a "White Student Union, where they can get "in touch with who you are as a white person and being proud of that," and all of a sudden a group made up of one particular race is controversial. Equated with the KKK.Called a hate group.
Why is the BSA or the LASA not objectionable, but a white group is? Why is it okay to take pride in being black or in being Latino, but it is racist to take pride in being white?
I call hypocrisy.
