Obama "Biggest Hypocrite Of Any President," Says Wikileaks Kristinn Hrafnsson (Video)

By Susan Duclos

Kristinn Hrafnsson from Wikileaks talks about the lofty statements Barack Obama made on whistleblowers before he became president, then compares them to Obama's contrary actions after obama won the presidency and says Obama is possibly the biggest hypocrite of any president.

Consider this: Only ten people in American history have been charged with espionage for leaking classified information, eight of them have been under Obama. They are Thomas Drake, Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, James Hitselberger, Shami K. Leibowitz, John Kiriakou, Bradley Manning, Jeffrey Sterling, and Edward Snowden.

If you are unfamiliar with any of the names, PolicyMic has a good rundown on who they are, when and why they were charged.

Take a look at the saved PDF of Barack Obama's website, which has now been scrubbed.

On page #3, it says:

Protect Whistleblowers: Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in government is an existing government employee committed to public integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism, which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should be encouraged rather than stifled as they have been during the Bush administration. We need to empower federal employees as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government.
I am not going to get into the right or wrongs of each individual charged with espionage under Obama, but the one clear thing is that Obama was publicly and vehemently on the side of whistleblowers before he was against them.

Promised to protect them until he became president, then started using the espionage charge more than all other presidents combined.

Hrafnsson is correct, that makes Obama the biggest hypocrite of any president, ever.
