Once again the mainstream media shows deference to things Barack Obama does that they would have skewed any other president for doing.
In the clip below from Media Research Center, Norah O'Donnell and Charlie Rose jumped to defend Obama on Thursday's CBS This Morning, after Reggie Love revealed that Obama stepped out of the Situation Room to play 15 hands of Spades with him, rather than monitor the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
O'Donnell expressed concern that "some people are going to take that headline out of context today," highlighting that it was "clearly a tension-filled day."
Rose defended Obama's actions by stating "I want the President to do whatever he needs to do to clear his mind, so he can make the most effective decision he can."
The mainstream media does not even attempt to be subtle about their devotion to Barack Obama anymore. This is not just bias, these people are apologists who are trying to preemptively defend Obama from criticism.
The picture released by the White House, showing Obama supposedly glued to the monitors, wouldn't have been so effective had they shown him sitting down for a game of cards, while a raid was being conducted on America's most wanted terrorist.
