The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.."
It is now being reported and the video below the article will show the notification, that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is now making and authorizing airport valets search vehicles at the airport without the consent of the car owners.
Saour Merwan, a keymaster at the valet service at San Diego International Airport, confirms this violation of Americans' constitutional Fourth Amendment right, saying "We search every car, we open the trunk and take a look around. We were told by airport authority to do that, since about two years ago. [We] keep an eye out for something suspicious, like wires and cables. The airport has security regulations and we have to follow them."
