Think it's Hot? Check out these Temperature Records

Is Obama Blowing Smoke and Hot Air in DC over Climate Change?

By Albert N. Milliron

President Obama's subject of this weeks address was on global climate change.
During last weeks speech Obama took a shot at so-called global warming skeptics, as he removed his jacket and wiped the sweat off his brow, he said, “we don’t have time for another meeting with the Flat Earth Society.” Had Obama taken that meeting, he would have learned that the Flat Earth Society is in agreement with him on Climate Change.

So what was supposed to be a joke toward “science deniers” ended up being a joke on Obama and his “scientific consensus” crowd.

Lets bring some statistics and scientific collected data to the argument that is “settled.”

You think its hot?  Check out these Temperature World Records.  I won’t even try to provide analysis of the data provided below, I will leave that for our readers.

Record Temperatures

The hottest air temperature ever recorded in Death Valley (Furnace Creek) was 134°F (57°C) on July 10, 1913. During the heat wave that peaked with that record, five consecutive days reached 129° F (54°C) or above. Death Valley holds the record for the hottest place on earth.
Oddly enough, 1913 was also the year that saw Death Valley's coldest temperature. On January 8 the temperature dropped to 15°F (-10°C) at Furnace Creek. via  Death Valley National Park.

Longest  heatwave in history - October 1924 - Over 100 F
The outback Australian town of Marble Bar recorded the longest ever heatwave, setting a record for the most consecutive days above 100F (37.8C).
