Updates: Widow Of Boston Bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Had Radical Islamist Material On Her Computer

By Susan Duclos

A few interesting updates on the investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings have come to light.

The feds have found al-Qaeda’s Inspire magazine and other radical Islamist material on Katherine Russell's computer. Russell, the widow of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, has stopped cooperating with authorities, probably on advice from her lawyer. Her DNA does not match the female DNA found on bomb fragments from the Boston Marathon bombs.

Russell's attorney Amato DeLuca, previously claimed the widow was shocked to discover her now deceased husband and brother-in-law were involved it he Boston bombings, but according to Newsday, there is evidence the bombs were made in the couple's apartment.

The new focus on Katherine Russell, 24, the widow of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, came as forensic tests detected residue from explosives in the bathtub and kitchen sink in the couple's Cambridge apartment.

The results, according to the source, appear to corroborate the surviving suspect's statements to federal investigators that the brothers built the bombs in the apartment.

The two brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, initially considered an attack for the Fourth of July at Boston’s large celebration along the Charles River.

Last but not least, it is being reported that no one wants to bury Tamerlan Tsarnaev, with four cemeteries where Muslims are buried turning funeral home owner Peter Stefan down when he reached out to them.

Stefan said it would be impossible to send the body back to Russia and added the family wants Tsarnaev buried in Boston.

“They want to bury him here, in Boston, in a Muslim cemetery,” he said. “I’m not going to hold him too long, the federal government is involved in this. If need be I will request help from them. A person has to be buried. Period.

“If we had Hitler here, we would bury Hitler,” Stefan added.

That about sums up the recent updated reports.
