Two headlines found one after another this morning.... first
The Daily Caller reports "Top Democrats plan attack on Rubio ahead of speech."
In a press release about the conference call, the Democrats say they will attempt to tie Rubio to the 2012 presidential ticket.
“Senator Marco Rubio is likely to endorse the same extreme budget
priorities which were enshrined in the last two budgets offered by U.S.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and which Republicans ran on last fall –
priorities which include ending Medicare as we know it to protect tax
breaks and loopholes for millionaires and billionaires,” the release
states.
Added the Democrats: “What we are unlikely to hear from Senator Rubio
are new ideas, solutions or a willingness to work with Democrats and
the President to find a balanced approach to strengthening our economy
and getting our fiscal house in order.”
The Democrats set up the messaging, issue their marching orders, The DC reports it at 9:01am and by 9:21 am, sure enough the good little Obama/Liberal puppet,
Greg Sargent at The Plum Line is headlining with "Marco Rubio won’t offer any real GOP “alternative."
If all of this sounds familiar, it’s because you’ve been hearing these
arguments since the beginning of the Obama presidency and before. Rubio
himself tells us that he wants the GOP to offer an “alternative.” But
this alternative looks almost identical to the
anything-but-Obama’s-policies, get-government-out-of-the-way rhetoric
that was defeated soundly in the last election. As long as Republicans
remain tied to reflexive government-is-bad rhetoric, they will struggle
to articulate a positive role government can play in people’s lives.
Different wording, same message they were instructed to push by their puppet masters..
