And Another Sheriff Comes Out to Publicly Oppose Any New Gun Legislation!

By Susan Duclos

A Kentucky Sheriff, two Oregon Sheriffs, a Colorado Sheriff and now news of an Alabama Sheriff, all publicly stating that they will not enforce any new gun regulations that violate the Second Amendment rights of their citizens and will not permit any entity to come into their town to enforce them either.

Sheriff Hughes of Houston County, AL announced the following on Facebook.

"As Sheriff of Houston county it is my job to protect the constitutional rights of our citizens. The second amendment is a right, not a privilege and shall not be infringed upon. As long as I am Sheriff of Houston County, I will not allow anyone to seize any firearms from law abiding citizens within this county."

Multiple states are also introducing legislation that will make it illegal for any new gun laws to be enforced in their state and threatening arrest, jail and fines for anyone attempting to enforce any new gun laws Congress passes or Obama issues by decree executive order.
