Video- Hillary Clinton Announces Israel-Hamas Ceasefire - 11/21/2012

By Susan Duclos

A cease-fire agreement has been reached to end the hostilities in Gaza, Egypt's foreign minister announced Wednesday at a news conference. The cease-fire was scheduled to take effect at 9 p.m. (2 p.m. ET) Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr said.

Israel has been through this before and whether Hamas will actually stop firing rockets is something that will have to be seen to be believed.

Just yesterday graphic photos published showed Hamas dragging a dead body, tied to a motorcycle, through the streets of Gaza after executing six men, in front of children, that Hamas claimed were Israeli spies.

The ceasefire agreement announced today, came hours after terrorists set off a bomb on a public transport bus in Tel Aviv, injuring 24 people.

The bombing of the public transport bus, deliberately targeting civilians,  drew immediate condemnation from world leaders, including U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who called it "shocking."

The White House labeled the strike a "terrorist attack," and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the United States "stands ready to provide any assistance that Israel requires."

Holding out hope that savages that would do that, will honor a ceasefire agreement for more than a couple days, is optimistic at best.

Video below is Hillary Clinton's announcement of the ceasefire agreement.
