RNC Launches An Obama Opposition Research Site On Tumblr

By Susan Duclos

After recent reports regarding "the book" which is to be over 500 pages of Obama quotes, videos and facts and figures, the RNC launched their "Failed Promises: Iowa Edition" video and now the RNC has launched a Tumblr account which will make the opposition research available to the general public.

The Republican National Committee launched a page on the social blogging site Tumblr Thursday to serve as a repository for the opposition research the party hopes to circulate while taking on President Obama in the 2012 election.

The RNC said the account "will showcase the latest research, facts, figures, pictures and YouTube videos about Barack Obama’s three years of failed economic policies and broken promises that have taken our country in the wrong direction."

"Through this platform, voters across the country will be able to follow the RNC as it examines the Obama record," the committee said in a statement.

The site has just been launched, three posts so far, but should be handy as they start providing the opposition research against Obama during the 2012 campaign season.
