Victory In Wisconsin For Governor Scott Walker

The Wisconsin Supreme Court in a 4-3 decision overturned a lower courts ruling, saying Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi overstepped her authority, and has ruled Governor Scott Walkers union rights law can go into effect.

Reuters:

The high court overturned a lower court, which had ruled Republican lawmakers violated the state's open meetings law when they passed the measure.

The law eliminates most collective bargaining rights for public workers and requires them to pay more for pensions and health coverage.
