Obama's Quincy, Illinois Speech; Riot Police Called

Hot Air provides the video on their site showing Obama thinks it is his place to say "Now, what we’re doing -- I want to be clear, we’re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money."

Go watch.

Morrissey's point:

He should have stuck with the TelePrompter. The President doesn’t get to decide when people have “made enough money.” In fact, as the radio host notes, that’s a statist point of view. Furthermore, the responsibility of an entrepreneur isn’t to “grow our economy,” core or otherwise. It’s to grow his own economy. In a properly regulated capitalist system, the natural tension of self-interests create economic growth through innovation and efficient use of capital and resources.

Next up, the entertainment factor about Obama's Quincy appearance.... those dangerous Tea Party supporters that came out to protest, so dangerous in fact that riot police had to be on hand.

More photo evidence of this dangerous (lol) crowd over at Gateway Pundit.

More video footage at Sharp Elbows.

How DARE protester be....ummm... peaceful!

Your ridiculous item of the day.
