Re: Sarah Palin- the AP Has Their 'Facts' Checked

Evidently the Associated Press got their grubby little hands on a copy of Sarah Palin's new book and decided to "fact check", by dedicating the time and resources of 11 reporters.

Palin responds on her facebook page in a piece titled "Really? Still Making Things Up?."

Amazingly, but not surprisingly, the AP somehow nabbed a copy of the book before it was released. They're now erroneously reporting on the book's contents and are repeating many of the same things they spewed during the campaign and afterwards. We've heard 11 writers are engaged in this opposition research, er, "fact checking" research! Imagine that – 11 AP reporters dedicating time and resources to tearing up the book, instead of using the time and resources to "fact check" what's going on with Sheik Mohammed's trial, Pelosi's health care takeover costs, Hasan's associations, etc. Amazing.

We'll keep setting the record straight, and we'll keep reminding some in the media that Americans are very tired of their non-objective reporting. A great, recent post that accomplishes this is a Conservatives4Palin post. It's got some nice fact checking included. As always, they did a great job holding some of the media accountable for spreading more misinformation and for making things up.

Following the link provided, I see that Conservatives4Palin truly did do their homework and fact checked the supposed fact checkers at AP.

Click the link above to see Conservatives4Palin show AP "Facts" vs "Truth". They put a lot of time and effort into clarifying the AP's supposed facts and digging deep.

I wonder if Palin haters truly understand the misstep they took with Sarah Palin, If they understand that her popularity, although she had many fans, doubled when they went balls outs into destroy mode. If they realize that the reason Palin is front page news every time she makes a move is because they themselves helped and continue to help make her front page news.

WSJ Book review writes:

Through it all, Mrs. Palin emerges as a new style of feminist: a politician who took on the Ole Boy network and won; a wife with a supportive husband whose career takes second place to hers; and a mother who, unlike working women of an earlier age, isn't shy about showcasing her family responsibilities. She writes with sensitivity and affection about her gay college roommate, and she confesses her anguish when she found out that she was carrying a baby with Down syndrome. That experience, she says, helped her to understand why a woman might be tempted to have an abortion. This is not the prejudiced, dim-witted ideologue of the popular liberal imagination.

For those wanting the book, you can find it at Amazon and just about every other book store. Release date November 17, 2009.

The good news for Palin is that some of the same people that criticize, contradict, challenge and try to destroy her, will also help her book reach best seller status.

Talk about ironic.
