Protester 'Shoved' For Speaking Out

Notice when and where the violence, the physical confrontations begin at the Obamacare townhalls across the country?

In St. Louis it was a conservative black man that got beat up by an SEIU, Obamacare proponent and CNN reports today on Arlen Specter's townhalls meeting and a confrontation seen there.

The shoving incident occurred early in the 90-minute session, when a man started shouting that he had been told by Specter's staff that he could speak, but he didn't get one of the 30 cards distributed to people allowing them to ask questions. Another man stood up and shoved the protester, and Specter approached the men shouting for calm.

"You and your cronies in government do this kind of stuff all the time," the protester shouted before leaving the hall. "I'm not a lobbyist with all kinds of money to stuff in your pockets. I'll leave you so you can do whatever the hell you do."

Not only are the majority of Americans against Obamacare and especially the single payer, public option, but they are getting damn tired of being called "unAmerican" by Pelosi and crew and of having their majority opinion compeltely ignored by their president and Democratic politicians and being shoved and hit (literally) for daring to speak up and voice their opposition.

[Update] Via The Politico, we see Specter put in his place by the crowd as well, reminding him of exactly who he works for.

“When he says that I’m tramping on constitutional rights, I have to disagree with him,” said the senator, who switched from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party this year. “I’m encouraging constitutional rights. I’m encouraging constitutional rights by coming to Lebanon [Pa.] to talk to my constituents. I could be somewhere else. I don’t get [any] extra pay. I don’t have any requirement to be here.”

But Specter’s assertion that he was not required to attend the town hall was not received so well.

“You work for us!” shouted several members of the crowd. “You work for us!”

That is what Barack Obama and the Democratic politicians seem to forget.... they work for us.
