No 'Branding' Necessary, Democrats ARE Socialists

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and looks like a duck... it is a duck. Old cliche maybe, but true and The Politico has a piece out about how the RNC and GOP are going to "brand" the Democrats as socialists.

Not necessary, anyone looking at the massive bailouts, leaving the government in control of major businesses and banks, or the outrageous spending and astounding total of Obama's budget, or the socialist type of healthcare reform that Obama is proposing which would give incentive to businesses to stop providing private healthcare plans so everyone would be on public healthcare...etc..... examples are out there in everything the Democrats do and propose which show them to be socialists.

Socialism:

1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.

3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
I once penned a piece called "Liberal Communist Manifesto", where I showed my readers the comparisons, if fact, some of the exact wording from the Communist Manifesto stated today by our "progressive, liberal democrats".

Readers do not have to take my word for what the Democrats are and have been for ages, just go look at the Communist Manifesto for yourself, read it, it isn';t that long and it was written in 1848 by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels.

Read it, compare the Democrats rhetoric (taxation, class warfare, government control...etc) to it and decide for yourself if a brand is necessary or if Democrats are, indeed, socialists.

Then read some of today's news reports with that manifesto in your mind.

The Obama administration has begun serious talks about how it can change compensation practices across the financial-services industry, including at companies that did not receive federal bailout money, according to people familiar with the matter.

Another warm and fuzzy moment for you?
