Newt Gingrich received a standing ovation for his speech at AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), where he slammed the Obama administration for their handling of Iran in relation to Israel, by stating "There's almost an eagerness to take on the Israeli government to make a point with the Arab world."
He takes it a step further by calling Obama's method of dealing with Iran a "fantasy" and "the clearest adoption of weakness since Jimmy Carter."
OUCH. True, needed to be said, but ouch.
Other highlights from Gingrich's speech are;
"There are some regimes you will not have a deal with because they are inherently evil";
Talking in good faith with Adolph Hitler would have been a complete dead loser. Ahmedinejad, if he had the weapons, would be every bit as dangerous";
"A world which destroys Israel will surely destroy the United States."

Gingrich received a standing ovation for his speech, from a group that understands that a nuclear Iran is unacceptable. It will be interesting to see the contrast when Joe Biden speaks before them and how hard he tries to sell Obama's approach and his willingness to speak to Iran while they continue to work towards obtaining nuclear weapons.
