National Intelligence Report: Pelosi Briefed On 'Enhanced Interrogation Techniques' In 2002

Everyone knew Nancy Pelosi was lying through her teeth when she said "In that or any other briefing . . . we were not, and I repeat, were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation techniques were used. What they did tell us is that they had some legislative counsel . . . opinions that they could be used, but not that they would."

According to a report from the Director of National Intelligence’s office and obtained by ABC News, not only was she briefed, but the description of that briefing is as follows:

Briefing on EITs including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities, and a description of particular EITs that had been employed

EITs stand for “enhanced interrogation techniques,” a classification of special interrogation tactics that includes waterboarding.

Pelosi is still trying to deny it and here is the most entertaining part yet... according to her spokesman, Pelosi's "recollection" is different from the report about the meeting.

HEH.

Make sure to read the whole article, linked above, to see the other people that were briefed on this as well.
