U.S. Airways plane crashes in Hudson River

Small U.S. Airways (according to AP) plane carrying more than a dozen people has been reported as having crashed in the Hudson River.

Update from USA Today:

Updated at 3:52 p.m. ET: The AP, quoting FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown, identifies the plane as United Airways flight 1549 en route from LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte, N.C.

WNBC says the plane was carrying around 146 people. CNN says the U.S. Coast Guard is dropping lift jackets into the water to survivors. Still no word on any injuries.
[Update] TV reports say everyone survived.
