Following Tradition, Bush Leaves Obama 'Good Luck' Note In Oval Office

The AP reports that following in the tradition of President Ronald Reagan leaving a good luck note and a "Don't let the turkeys get you down," thought for his successor, President George H.W. Bush, who in turn left a note for President Bill Clinton, who also left a note for President George W. Bush....now the present Bush has done the same for President Barack Obama.

There were no details given about the note other than to say the note was "wishing him well," but from one President to another, it is a nice thought of them doing it for each other.

"The theme is similar to what he's said since election night about the fabulous new chapter President-elect Obama is about to start, and that he wishes him the very best," White House press secretary Dana Perino said Tuesday.

After welcoming the Obama family to the White House and the rituals of inauguration day, Bush will then go home to Texas while Obama officially takes over the presidency.

Whether we voted for Obama or not, he is the next President of the United States of America and as President Bush has done, everyone should wish him all the luck in the world.

So, To Obama: Good luck and remember, Americans are keeping their eyes on you and your decisions and the world is also watching.... do us proud and be vigilant in keeping us safe.
