I am not sure what is a bigger miracle...a black man becoming the leader of the free world, or the Arizona Cardinals making it to the Super Bowl.
The Cardinals are the Jews of football. They wandered for generations through different cities, and wandered in the Desert before finally finding a hero who could lead them to the promised land of Tampa Florida, site of Super Bowl XLIII.
So as we rightfully celebrate the life and mourn the untimely death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, we should also honor and mourn another true hero, Pat Tillman. He left a multi-million dollar NFL salary with those same Cardinals to take an $18,000 a year job as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan.
Lastly, while Tuesday is about the 44th President, Monday is about 43.
Today is his final full day in office. May God Bless George W. Bush always.
