Border Patrol Agent Fires Shots At Suspects At US-Canada Border

According to the U.S. Border Patrol, an agent was assaulted and fired shots at three suspects along the Canadian border in Vermont.
The border patrol agents was interviewing the three suspects at approximately 2:15 a.m, when the suspects pushed the agent to the ground and started hitting him.

The agent pulled his weapon and fired two shots at the three suspects.

Two suspects, male and female, were taken into custody and the third escaped capture and it is believed he crossed into Canada.

The nationalities nor names of the suspects have been released and border patrol is working in conjunction with federal, state, local, and Canadian law enforcement officials to capture the person that escaped.
