The New 17 Million' Ad from the Hillary Clinton Campaign

YouTube URL for the ad found here.

Hillary Clinton had another landslide win in Puerto Rico, where she won 68 percent of the vote compared to Barack Obama's 32 percent. In conjunction with that win, she released her '17 Million" vote ad.
The ad above, released in South Dakota and Montana today, points out that "Some say there isn't a single reason for Hillary to be the Democratic nominee. They're right. There are over 17 million of them."

What the ad did not point out is that according to Real Clear Politics, Hillary Clinton, with Florida now added, does, indeed, have the popular vote, while Barack Obama is ahead in delegate counts.

Despite her being ahead in the popular vote, the amount of delegates is what will be the deciding factor in who will take the Democratic nomination for presidency and as of now, Barack Obama has 2,052 delegates while Clinton has 1,877.

The number needed to win the nomination is 2,118.

Clinton is all but dead in the water, which is why her campaign has said they may take the Rules and ByLaws Committee's very controversial decision to the credentials committee and dispute the way they ruled on Michigan and their voters.

They gave Clinton and Obama a 69-59, respectively which according to Harold Ickes and Tina Flournoy, both from the Clinton Campaign, "We strongly object to the Committee’s decision to undercut its own rules in seating Michigan’s delegates without reflecting the votes of the people of Michigan.

The Committee awarded to Senator Obama not only the delegates won by Uncommitted, but four of the delegates won by Senator Clinton. This decision violates the bedrock principles of our democracy and our Party.

We reserve the right to challenge this decision before the Credentials Committee and appeal for a fair allocation of Michigan’s delegates that actually reflect the votes as they were cast."

With this new ad being released, it is obvious that Hillary Clinton is not going to bow out and the option of taking the fight to the convention floor, which has been the one true fear of the Democratic leadership, is still wide open.

Only Hillary Clinton knows how she is to move forward and this latest ad gives us a hint of what her thinking might be.
