A woman walks into a Wells Fargo bank in Peoria Arizona, places two bags on the counter, told the bank teller she had a bomb and demanded money then took the money and left the bag behind. The bomb squad responded and found just a bag of potatoes.

The suspect walked into a Wells Fargo bank, on 107th and Peoria avenues, on Friday morning, and proceeded to a window and gave a teller a note that demanded large bills and indicated that she had a bomb in her bag.

The teller gave her an undisclosed amount of money which also contained a dye pack, which is used by the FBI to trace the money.

It is unknown whether the suspect left by vehicle or on foot.

After she left, the Maricopa police were alerted and the Maricopa County Sheriff's bomb squad was dispatched to the scene and they sent a robot into the bank to detonate the device and it turned out there were potatoes in the bag and no bomb.
