Valour IT Update and Soldier's Angels

Left sidebar you will see the donation for the Valour IT project, run by Soldier's Angels, which funds computers with voice activated software for our wounded veterans.

This year we joined the Army team and so far that has garnered $37,929 and a huge thanks to everyone that has been donating.

Just as special has been Soldier's Angels "3RD ANNUAL "CHRISTMAS FOR THE TROOPS" STOCKING DRIVE", which reports today show that the wonderful GalleryCollection.com has donated 280,000 cards for our troops abroad.

The Soldiers' Angels in Georgia would like to thank all donors and participants of the "Christmas For The Troops" project for a job well done. We have been successful in collecting enough items to fill the full 20,000 stockings that we set out to complete. The stockings will be stuffed by our local volunteers on October 27th and shipped out soon after.

If you were not able to participate in any of the above events, no worries, you can still support the troops by emailing your own card to them for the holidays over at "Let's say Thanks"- In support of our troops, it only takes a minute and our men and women appreciate it more than you know.

When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:

A Recovering American Soldier/Hero
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6 900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

More you can do:

Last but never least, Move America Forward is in the midst of their 40-city, pro-troop rallies and they too are collecting cards and making goodie boxes, to send our men and women that serve so bravely.

If you would like to meet up with them, donate your cards, help package some goodie bags/boxes to send to our troops or simply just visit a rally near you, here is their itinerary, find out when they will be close and go show your support.

You can also donate to help Move America Forward in their continuing efforts to support the troops by contributing here.

There are so many ways you can say Thanks to our troops for all they do so selflessly, please take a few moments, decide what is best for you and do it.

It means the world to them.
