Note to congress: This is how you put your differences aside to take on a common goal aka finding something that two polar opposite sides can work together on.
Once upon a time a website named Red State made an announcement saying that Ron Paul shills were banned from commenting on their site.
Effective immediately, new users may *not* shill for Ron Paul in any way shape, form or fashion. Not in comments, not in diaries, nada. If your account is less than 6 months old, you can talk about something else, you can participate in the other threads and be your zany libertarian self all you want, but you cannot pimp Ron Paul. Those with accounts more than six months old may proceed as normal.
PAY ATTENTION CONGRESS
Red State is a conservative blog site.
Wonkette, in a very bipartisan manner, (Wonkette is a liberal weblog)has decided that although Red State and Wonkette have differences on just about every issue under the sun, they DO have one thing in common with Red State and that is something than any of us that has had to deal with the comment spammers that converge on any comment thread of any blog that mentions Ron Paul, understand and Wonkette is willing to put aside other differences to work in a "bipartisan" manner and start "war" with Paultards, with Red State as an ally in said war..
Dear whoever runs things at Redstate.com:
We don’t care for your website. Just not our thing, ya know? But if Congress has taught us anything, it’s that Congress can’t teach us anything about working together. We may not like your internets, and you may not like ours, but we must work together to destroy a mutual enemy — illegal alien spambots, a.k.a. Paultards.
We were impressed with your recent banning of Paultards. We have one or two that we kind of like, but we try our best to ban the others. Nevertheless, these little CGI-based runts find their way to new cyber enclaves, from which they donate $4.3 million dollars to celebrate Guy Fawkes, as popularized by that sad excuse for a film, V for Vendetta.
This is a call for internet bipartisanship. We must bipartisan…ly declare war on the Paultards! We don’t know precisely what this war entails. This is where you come in, since you’re the Republicans. You guys know how to carry out wars, right? Strategy and the like? Well, you at least know how to start wars, which is fine with us. We welcome an insurgency. Bring it on, as your leader would say.
As we’ve both witnessed over the past few years, Congress hasn’t passed like, a single bill at all because of immature spats and dangerous political posturing. We will show them how to put aside our differences and work together for AMERICA, by ridding the internet of pompous Paultards. It will be like the U.S. and the Soviet Union teaming up to stop the Nazis. We get to be FDR though. Actually fuck it, we’ll be Stalin.
What say ye?
Bon chance,
Wonkette
Red State shows a willingness to agree to such a partnership.
Dear Wonkette,
Agreed.
Bombing starts in five minutes.
Sincerely,
RedState.com
PS - We'd prefer to be Churchill than that socialist FDR. OK? We vote Kaus for FDR.
[UPDATE:] Attn Paultards: We are taking the initiative in this and declaring Pejman the Jew our Field Marshall in the war. Fear us.
By the way, we're not much into occupations these day. War is fine, we're really good at that. Occupation is hell. I hear Field Marshall Yousefzadeh just wants to go with an annihilation strategy.
HYSTERICAL and know what?
COUNT ME IN.
(What I mean about spammers is simple. Any post I do regarding Ron Paul, my sitemeter, which handily shows where people are referred from, shows me that Paultards go to technorati, google or any search engine, search for his name, then spam the comment sections. LET ME BE CLEAR, they do not just comment, but if you click where they were referred from, and follow the links listed from their search, you can find that the EXACT same comment they left on your blog has been left on all those on that particular search list.
They run around copying and pasting their own comments to every blog mentioning paul---THAT is spamming.)
BOMBS AWAY EVERYONE.
[Update] New averages are in, Ron Paul has a 3% Average, for October and November.
