GOE, Move America Forward and Vets For Freedom

Starting with Gathering of Eagles, they will be meeting up with Move America Forward as they end the caravan across our country and all will be converging on the Hill.

Take a good look at those preparing to counter the Veterans and the Move America Forward supports... remember before you look that in the last 12 days, 27 stops, not one, NOT ONE, Move America Forward rally member has been arested or felt the need to break the law.

Yet this counter protest is asking their supporters to sign up and stating outright:

I am ready to commit to participating in this civil disobedience action which may risk arrest.

Can the contrast be anymore stark? Who are the peace activists?

Then on the 17th and 18th, Vets for Freedom, veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars will also be marching on the hill to support our troops and thier mission.

Drop by, give these folks you words of support!!!!!

My interview with Pete Hegseth, executive Director of Vets for Freedom can be found here.

My interview with Melanie Morgan, chairman of Move America Forward can be found here.

[Update] Via email, Bob from Gathering of Eagles sends this:

As much as I would like to be part of the "main force" I have decided to hang with the Nam Knights at the Wall. They and the GoE do not want to leave it open while the main force harasses the freaks.

On Saturday, September 15, the Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club, a U.S. military veteran and law enforcement MC, will provide security at the Vietnam Memorial and the Vietnam Nurses Memorial in Washington, D.C. as part of the larger counter demonstration to that of ANSWER. (www.freestate-nk.org) or (www.namknights.org)

If you are interested in learning more about us, I invite you to come to visit us on Saturday. The bulk of the activity, as you know, will take place between the White House and the Capitol building at the other end of the Mall, but we and the Gather of Eagles organization, feel that we need to cover this flank.

The Vietnam Memorial will be protected, they won't deface it as they have been defacing and destroying others lately.

God bless these guys for protecting the memorials.
