Democrat's Dubious Dialect

Hat Tip to
Stop the ACLU for sending me the email showing me this comedic farce.

Democratic U.S. House candidate Steve Kagen apologized Monday for commenting that he was late for a meeting on an Indian reservation because "we're on Injun time."

"I did not mean any harm by my words and I humbly apologize if I offended anyone. That was not my intent," he said in a statement hours after the National Republican Congressional Committee released a tape recording of the comment.

Kagen attended a meeting Friday on the nearby Oneida Reservation and at his next stop in Green Bay he made the following remarks:

"Appreciate getting here almost on time. Our excuse in Oneida was, well, we're on Injun time. They don't tell time by the clock. Our excuse here is that I am a doctor and that we're never on time."

It was not all that long ago that the whole Democratic party and the left media was making a spectacle of themselves, tripping over their own feet to criticize Sen. Allen for his macacca remark.

Yet the Democratic party have no problems making snide racial references and the left media treats those as if they mean nothing, when coming from a Democrat it is a joke, when coming from a Republican it is an outrage. Perhaps a good reason for this is because we expect it of the Democrats but the Republicans are above that, therefore it is an outrage when a Republican does it. I mean, what else would explain the difference in how these things are reported on?

Another example is when House Minority Whip and longtime Maryland congressman Steny H. Hoyer drew criticism from Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele and a black church group yesterday for his description of the Republican Senate candidate as "slavishly" following the GOP.

After speaking to members of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce gathered in Ocean City yesterday, Steele called Hoyer's description "the height of arrogance."

"It goes to just the sheer craziness of some in the Democratic Party who think they can use racist terms and infer things about me just because I'm an African American Republican," he said.

Take a look at both instances and see how the Washington posts reports on one in comparison to how it reports on the other. No media bias there huh? What a joke Wapo is.

On another note (Hat Tip to 186 k per second for this) Daily Kos has actually given the Democrats more reason to vote for Republicans.

Here's the bottom line -- safe Republican incumbents are ponying up in an effort to keep control of Congress -- to the tune of $2.3 million more than Democrats. It's why they win -- they work harder and sacrifice more than our safe, lazy, entrenched incumbents who would rather stew in the minority than actually extend themselves out a bit.

WOW, Daily Kos, admitting readily that Republicans work harder and sacrifice more and that Democrats are "lazy entrenched incumbents" that do not extend themselves. LOL, I love it. Thanks Kos for ANOTHER reason for us to go to the booths and vote REPUBLICAN.
