'Dexter' Killers Targeted Sex Offender, Planned To Kill Others On State Registry (Video)

By Susan Duclos

A South Carolina man confessed to targeting and killing a sex offender, and according to Union County Sheriff David Taylor, the man and his wife, planned to kill others on the state sexual offender registry.

Jeremy Moody and his wife, Christine, were arrested and charged with murder and told authorities they caught him just in time, because  "He planned to kill another sex offender on the register today," said the Sheriff."

The sex offender registry was meant to be a tool for parents and those vulnerable to sexual attacks, to be aware of convicted offenders that are in their neighborhoods, but this "Dexter like" killing couple shows the downside registries, according to critics.
