Sources: Zimmerman To Be Charged With Second Degree Murder

By Susan Duclos

Politisite reports that according to "sources" George Zimmerman will be charged with second degree murder for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. This falls in with what Gabriel J. Chin, a professor at the University of California, Davis, School of Law terms as "charging high and letting the jury decide," to which he states there are inherent risks, one being the prosecutors losing "credibility" by overreaching "could wind up with nothing."

Politisite's sources are confirmed by the Miami Herald and Fox News Latino, just to name a couple.

Murder one was already off the table the second Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey decided to bring charges without a Grand Jury.

Reports claim that Zimmerman is in custody and unlike the media circus that has surrounded this case, the prosecutors job will be difficult because the speculation that has run rampant isn't evidence that can be introduced and witness accounts along with Zimmerman's testimony, police reports describing injuries to Zimmerman and video documentation, will be used by Zimmerman's attorney's to claim self-defense.

Another Politisite report states that Zimmerman has a new Attorney, Mark M. O’Mara.

Hopefully once the case comes to trial, evidence can be separated from the rampant media hyperbole and the public will finally get a true sense of what can be proven, what cannot and what the actual evidence is.
