I like Sharron Angle For Her Honesty

I might not agree with all Sharron Angle's opinions. I might not agree with all her stances on each issue out there, but I like Sharron Angle and let me tell you why.

In today's world of politics, politicians misspeak, make gaffes, then in turn try to justify, doublespeak, explain or lie their way out of them.

Not Angle.

Statement from Sharron Angle:

There's been some confusion this morning regarding my position on BP and the oil spill.

Having had some time to think about it, the caller and I shouldn't have used the term "slush fund"; that was incorrect.

My position is that the creation of this fund to compensate victims was an important first step-- BP caused this disaster and they should pay for it. But there are multiple parties at fault here and there should be a thorough investigation. We need to look into the actions, (or inactions) of the Administration and why the regulatory agency in charge of oversight was asleep at the wheel while BP was cutting corners. Every party involved should be held fully accountable.

Comes right out there and says she was incorrect. Honesty and forthrightness from a politician.

Novel idea.

I cannot vote for Angle because I am not a resident in Nevada, but as an American who does have to tolerate Harry Reid as a Nevada Senator because his actions affect me since he is the Senate Majority Leader, I damn well want to see him gone, fired, no longer in a position to harm this country with his political maneuvering, lies, justifications, temper tantrums and outright dishonesty.

So, if you are a resident in Nevada and are concerned about your 14 percent unemployment rate (one of the highest in the country), the massive federal deficit to which Reid continues to pass bills through the Senate enlarging it, or the trillion dollar costs associated with Obamacare to which Reid jammed through the Senate after using bribery and unethical tactics to get Democratic votes, then consider voting for Angle to remove Harry Reid from office.

If you are not a resident of Nevada but are concerned with all the above, you can help her campaign, either by donating, highlighting her and the comparisons between Reid and her, blogging about the race or simply emailing friends and helping to get her name out there.
