The Tea Party, Dissent And Patriotism-The Left Vandalizes, The Right Speaks Up

Over at Memeorandum, I saw a listing of stories, starting with "Source: State Dems scrambling to deploy tea party ‘crashers’," recounting a source who tells them that liberal activists are being sought to "carry signs expressing racist or fringe sentiments", to which media can capture, show publicly and associate with Tea Party protesters.

Reading through the discussions I came across Neptunus Lex and the first paragraph reminded me of all the stories written and ink dedicated to dissent from left during Bush's term.

The Tea Party phenomenon absolutely enrages the left, which had considered dissent as the highest form of patriotism until the other side got a whiff of it....

As the Tea Party grows in name recognition and size of membership, we continue to see more and more liberals angry and determined to sabotage the effort, not with truth, but with fake protesters holding signs and screaming racist remarks in order to have those types of actions associated with the Tea Party.

Yesterday we saw articles written about a man named Levin who publicly says he has people to "infiltrate" the Tea Party movement for no other reason then to make them look bad.

Make them look bad, yet when Bush was President and the left was protesting, no one had to "infiltrate" or fake actions, the left's protesters and their actions were caught on film and reported on and the internet never forgets.

A little trip down memory lane seems to be in order with a few comparisons to Tea Party protests and "others".

I will start with the little pink punks named Code Pink, defacing a recruiting office.

Now, on to the protest from the Tea Party in Washington.

In the most recent round of Tea Party protests, CNN went along for the ride and found that the rhetoric against Tea Party members, did not seem to fit what they witnessed with their own eyes.

Thousands upon thousands of Tea Party protesters in Washington, multiple times since the photo above which was in 2009, yet not one story like this next one where protesters from the left spray painted the capitol exercising their "first amendment rights" by defacing our nations capitol for the sake of protesting.

Funny, I also haven't heard of any memorials being defaced by Tea Party activists either. Nope, again, that was the other side's version of "dissent" and remember, then as Neptunus Lex reminds us, it was considered the highest form of patriotism!!!

I also haven't heard, nor seen of any Tea Party members disrupting and being removed from actual congressional hearings...nope, again, that was the left and their "dissent."

The examples and comparisons go on and on and on.

Tomorrow the Tea Party Express ends it "Just Vote Them Out!" tour and will once again be in Washington and while the "infiltrators" are publicly stating they will do everything in their power to make the Tea Party look bad, nothing, no sign, no screamed out remark, no amount of trickery or fakery will ever make the Tea Party look half as bad as the disruptive, vandalizing protests shown above and more conducted by the left.

“You, the politicians in Washington, have failed We The People with your bailouts, out-of-control deficit spending, government takeovers of sectors of the economy, Cap & Trade, government-run health care, and higher taxes! If you thought we were just going to quietly go away, or that this tea party movement would be just a passing fad, you were mistaken. We’re taking our country back!”

[Update] If you attend tomorrow's event, keep your eye out for this guy, another idiot that doesn't understand that you cannot sneak into an event after screaming out that you will be attempting to do so.
