Best Part Of Nevada GOP Caucus Night - Video Of Trump Stealing The Show From Glenn Beck

For die-hard Donald Trump supporters the best part of  the GOP Nevada caucuses which were held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 would obviously be the fact that he took 45.9 percent of the vote and 14 of the delegates allocated proportionally, right after taking first place in NH and SC. For others seeing the "political establishment" completely freak out rates right up there as a highlight. Then we have those that were very happy to see the "establishment" that has become more pompous, arrogant, and unhinged with every new poll showing Trump rising, become even more unglued.

Below is my favorite moment, caught on camera, then we will take a look at the entrance polls as well as the Super Tuesday schedule.

Setting the stage, so to speak, Glenn Beck was speaking on behalf of Ted Cruz at the Palo Verde High School caucus site and in the video below you will see that Donald Trump who had been visiting caucus locations throughout the evening, showed up to steal Beck's thunder.... watch the people gravitate away from Beck and to Trump.






That was your entertainment part of this article, now lets dig into the entrance polls, which say so much about why Trump has continued to rise and why he is racing towards Super Tuesday with three consecutive big wins under his belt.

ENTRANCE POLLS SHOW THE PUBLIC IS TIRED OF THE 'ESTABLISHMENT'

An overwhelming 70 percent of Nevada caucus-goers say they are looking for someone "outside the political establishment."



As we have seen since Trump first announced his candidacy, when political leaders and the media alike declared him dead in the water, just to see his poll numbers start to rise, the Republican voters are fed up with those same party leaders attempting to "choose" what candidates will or won't be acceptable rather than letting voters make their own decision.

Which brings us to another entrance poll demographic that defies party leaders and the MSM's immediate repudiation of a Trump candidacy after his announcement that he would be running for President, when all the political pundits and talking heads said his comments on immigration would cost him the Hispanic/Latino vote.



Trump took 44 percent of Nevada's Hispanic/Latino caucus-goes, despite the fact that both Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have Hispanic/Latino backgrounds.

It is not just Hispanics/Latinos though as we see, according to USA Today, Trump swept "nearly every demographic group,"  showing his appeal is across the board, or to rephrase, the appeal of his message, since another entrance poll question shows 30 percent of caucus attendees rated economy/jobs as the most important issue facing the country, with government spending taking second place with 26 percent and immigration and terrorism tying at 20 percent.

Perhaps the biggest statement being made to "hard-core" conservatives that have attempted to shame their viewers/readers into supporting the candidate of their choice, rather than respecting each person's individual right to choose the person they want according to their own reasoning, is the entrance poll demographic showing 43 percent of NV caucus-goers consider themselves "somewhat conservative" and 40 percent self-identify as "very conservative."

What many call the rise of Trump could really be said to be the fall of the political establishment, an establishment that for decades has offered voters the "illusion" of choice as they have "selected" who their establishment candidate would be as well as who their "insurgent" candidate would be in order to control the process and ultimately control who the Republican nominee for president would be.

SUPER TUESDAY SCHEDULE

Super Tuesday is March 1, 2016, where twelve states and one territory will caucus or cast primary votes. Those states are Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia will hold primaries for both parties. Alaska will hold its Republican caucus while American Samoa will caucus for Democrats.

How many delegates are at stake? For Republicans, 595 delegates are at stake. For Democrats, there a 1,004. GOP candidates need 1,237 delegates to win the nomination. Democrats need 2,383.

BOTTOM LINE

Who you vote for, if you decide to vote, is your choice, your right and no one has the right to tell you, nor shame you, into doing what they want versus what you feel is the correct thing to do.

Personally, the spectacle of seeing the political establishment  work themselves into a frenzy because voters are upending the process and refusing to "do as their told" by the media and party leaders, gives me hope that people are awakening to how corrupt the system has become.

China Has Won The Global Game Of Monopoly And Ended Up With Park Avenue - And Everything Else!

The Chinese have defeated the United States in the game of Monopoly - They took Americas printing press money in exchange for Chinese merchandise and then took the cash and bought the country. - SQ


With recent news that lawmakers are "freaking out" over the record rate that the Chinese are buying up American companies, including the Chicago Stock Exchange, we take a look at news from 2009 to present day and have to ask if America has become the United States of China?

News that a Chinese company, Chongqing Casin Enterprise Group (CCEG) agreed to terms to acquire the Chicago Stock Exchange has spurred 45 members of Congress to sign a letter to the Treasury Department's Committee on Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS), where it is noted that CCEG's financial assets were originally owned by the Chinese government and the company was created to absorb those state controlled assets in 1997.

"This proposed acquisition would be the first time a Chinese-owned, possibly state-influenced, firm maintained direct access into the $22 trillion US equity marketplace," the letter reads.

With China being the biggest holder of America's debt we are reminded of a 2009 Washington Post report where China was said to be "saber-rattling" when China demanded the Obama government offer them a "guarantee the safety" of its $1 trillion (at that time) in America bonds.

Specifically noted in that article was that "Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton urged the Chinese to keep buying U.S. bonds."  What wasn't noted in that article was the nature of the "guarantee" China was actually given, but subsequent reports since 2009 show that the Chinese have acquired a significant amount of land, businesses and real estate within the U.S., but the following quote from that piece gives us a clue of what was to come.

"The power that China now has is that its actions are seen as a leading indicator of the confidence that foreign investors will have in the ability of the U.S. government to pay the debt," said Eswar Prasad, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. "These comments are saber-rattling in the sense that they are using that leverage to tell the U.S. to back off on currency policy and trade policy."

A look at the "Stimulus" package from 2009 and Quantitative easing, with the Fed printing money out of thin air, in conjunction with the report from Reuters in October 2015 that America suffered the "largest expansion" in terms of "trade deficit" in five months while China's imports "surge" and we see that added to the record rate of businesses and land Chinese entities are buying up - the U.S. has indeed been sold down the river..... to China.

Look at the numbers, updated on February 8, 2016:

The U.S. trade deficit with China was $365.7 billion in 2015  This is a new record, up slightly from last year's record of $343 billion.

The trade deficit exists because U.S. exports to China were only $116.2 billion while imports from China hit a new record of $481.9 billion. The deficit keeps growing because imports are rising faster than exports.

For years we have been seeing reports of how much American real estate the Chinese have been buying, from FORBES stating in 2013 "by most estimates, they are snatching up high end real estate in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, in particular."

Across the country, however, Chinese purchasers bought over $10 billion of U.S. real estate in 2011 and account for 9% of foreign U.S. house buyers, second only to Canadians, according to Juwai.com, a Chinese real estate website geared towards international home shoppers.

By comparison, and across the 50 states, the Chinese buy more U.S. homes than Indians, Mexicans or the British. While Mexicans are big in California and all across the south, China still ranks within the top five foreign nationalities buying real estate in 44 states.  China, for instance, is ahead of Mexican buyers throughout the more costly Northeast. They already are the number one foreign buyer group in states like West Virginia and Massachusetts. They are number two in New York, Maine, Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, Wyoming and Hawaii.

By 2014, Zero Hedge points out that China is on the way to becoming  "the dominant land owner in the entire country." Noted in that piece is that not only is China buying up large tracts of land but in some cases the land is being given away to them for free as an enticement to build factories!

Gov. Robert Bentley said Friday that he will announce an economic development project in Thomasville, Ala., Monday morning. That project is likely a copper tube plant to be built by Golden Dragon Precise Copper Tube Group. A legal notice published Thursday indicates that the city of Thomasville and others intend to give land and other incentives to GD Copper USA, which state corporation records identify as a Florida-based subsidiary of Golden Dragon.

See just a few examples of China's purchase of U.S. real-estate and businesses here and here. Just do a search on any search engine for China land purchases in the U.S., or businesses, or real-estate, and you will be amazed at how much of the U.S. they own already.

FORBES from 2014:

Last year, China accounted for $12.8 billion of the $68.2 billion in foreign real estate transactions, according to the National Association of Realtors. For the last 12 months ending in March, China accounted for $22 billion of what is now a $92 billion market. Moreover, Chinese purchasing power moved them from a 19% share of the market last year, to a 24% share so far this year.

Thanks to all the money the Chinese are spending on penthouse suites in midtown Manhattan, the median price of a home purchased by the Chinese is greater than all the other top international markets.  On average, China home buyers dished out over $523,000 for a home, more than the U.K. ($350,000), India ($342,000), Canada ($212,000) and Mexico ($141,000).

In New  York’s super high-luxury housing market, the Chinese have surpassed the Russian oligarchs. For new properties costing over $20 million, China is the main foreign customer these days, says Martin Purcell, a broker for Rutenberg Realty.

In 2012 the Federal Reserve also gave the thumbs up for Chinese firms to buy up U.S. Banks.

As to the headline about owning NY's Park Avenue, that isn't facetious as Xin Zhang, the chief executive officer of Soho China, already owns a significant stake in the Park Avenue Plaza, and other Chinese firms and investors are buying up notable properties across New York, and in May, a large piece of the General Motors Building in Manhattan was purchased by a Chinese real estate developer, and who can forget the Waldorf Astoria, a landmark that has hosted every U.S. president from Hoover to Obama, located at 301 Park Ave, New York, is now owned by the Chinese.

Another point that has to be made is what happens when China owns more of the U.S. between debt, "guarantees," land and real estate, than Americans do? Well, we already know China's state-run media has called for the disarming of Americans, so how soon before they own enough to start dictating our laws and policies?

BOTTOM LINE

China has outsmarted America - They own a significant portion of our debt, they took all that money we printed out of thin air, via the trade deficit, then they used our own money to buy up the country.... as the quote via SQ states at the top of the article, "The Chinese have defeated the United States in the game of Monopoly.

Why Most Millennials Will Not Survive What Is Coming

In a world where college students demand "safe zones" and "trigger warnings" in order to avoid the uncomfortable reality that surrounds them, and where exposing corruption and speaking the truth is automatically labeled "doom and gloom," we are creating a nation, a future generation, that will be incapable of surviving any life-altering event or disaster, natural or man-made, will be unable to even function because they will be too busy whining about the unfairness of it all, despite the fact that they have seen the warnings for years, but chose to ignore them.

 This morning I ran across an "open letter" from an employee, a 25 year old, to her CEO..... first I thought it was satire, then searched a little and found it was not, and I have to admit, with all we write about, the things we expose to the light of day, I still find myself flabbergasted at some of the things I see.

This woman who seems to have the mentality of a over-protected child that throws a temper tantrum whenever everything isn't handed to her on a silver platter, was castigating her employer for the choices she made.

She admits in her open letter that she chose to accept a job that paid "$733.24, bi-weekly,"  (Totalling 1,466.48 monthly) and chose to rent an apartment that costs $1245 a month. She also chose, in her own words to "put a bunch of debt on a shiny new credit card to afford the move."

Anyone else thinking right about now that perhaps she "majored in English literature," because she wasn't all that good with simple mathematics?

She also admits to recieving full medical benefits as part of the job package, stating "Let’s talk about those benefits, though. They’re great. I’ve got vision, dental, the normal health insurance stuff — and as far as I can tell, I don’t have to pay for any of it! Except the copays. $20 to see a doctor or get an eye exam or see a therapist or get medication....."

A few key quotes from the letter, to which can be read in its entirety at Meduim. (Make sure to read the comments because some of them are priceless!)

I haven’t bought groceries since I started this job. Not because I’m lazy, but because I got this ten pound bag of rice before I moved here and my meals at home (including the one I’m having as I write this) consist, by and large, of that. Because I can’t afford to buy groceries. Bread is a luxury to me, even though you’ve got a whole fridge full of it on the 8th floor. But we’re not allowed to take any of that home because it’s for at-work eating. Of which I do a lot. Because 80 percent of my income goes to paying my rent. 

So the jobs also provides food, in fact according to the job description as well as her own acknowledgment, they have a "fully stocked kitchen" on-site.

Will you pay my phone bill for me? I just got a text from T-Mobile telling me my bill is due. I got paid yesterday ($733.24, bi-weekly) but I have to save as much of that as possible to pay my rent ($1245) for my apartment that’s 30 miles away from work because it was the cheapest place I could find that had access to the train, which costs me $5.65 one way to get to work. That’s $11.30 a day, by the way. I make $8.15 an hour after taxes. I also have to pay my gas and electric bill. Last month it was $120. According to the infograph on PG&E’s website, that cost was because I used my heater. I’ve since stopped using my heater. Have you ever slept fully clothed under several blankets just so you don’t get a cold and have to miss work? Have you ever drank a liter of water before going to bed so you could fall asleep without waking up a few hours later with stomach pains because the last time you ate was at work? I woke up today with stomach pains. I made myself a bowl of rice.

After stating earlier in her snarky, nasty letter to her CEO that many of those that work with her are struggling and "taking on side jobs," she herself, due to her own choices and inability to make smart, common sense decisions, isn't doing any work on her "freelance gig," because she is "constantly too stressed to focus on anything but going to sleep as soon as I’m not at work."

She then decided to castigate Jeremy Stoppelman, the CEO, who co-founded his company Yelp in 2004 and grew it into an empire after obtaining a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Illinois in 1999, working at @Home Network, then at X.com, and later became the VP of Engineering after the company was renamed PayPal, before leaving PayPal to attend Harvard Business School, then doing a a summer internship at MRL Ventures before he and others came up with the idea for Yelp Inc. Compare his work history  to her complaint earlier in her letter where she whines about having to "work in support for an entire year before I would be able to move to a different department. A whole year answering calls and talking to customers just for the hope that someday I’d be able to make memes and twitter jokes about food."

Originally, I suggested that Eat24 offer a matching donation with customers where they can choose a donation amount during checkout and Eat24/Yelp would match it and donate those profits to a national food program. Maybe instead, you can let customers choose a donation amount during checkout and divide those proceeds among your employees who spend more than 60% of their income on rent? The ideal percent is 30%. As I said, I spend 80%. What do you spend 80% of your income on? I hear your net worth is somewhere between $111 million and $222 million. That’s a whole lotta rice.

Originally, I suggested that Eat24 offer special coupon codes where half of the code’s value ($1) goes to charity. Maybe instead, you can give half the code’s value ($1) to helping employees who live across the bay pay their transit fares? Mine are $226 monthly. According to this website, you’ve got a pretty nice house in the east bay. Have you ever been stranded inside a CVS because you can’t afford to get to work? How much do you pay your gardeners to keep that lawn and lovely backyard looking so neat?

So, after reading the entire letter, I was not surprised in the least to see an update from a couple hours later informing readers she had been terminated, with a lot of links to a bunch of donation accounts, hoping that people would see how much of a victim she was of her own choices that she blames the CEO of her former company for, and that they would give her their hard earned money.

Needless to say, some of the comments took her to task for her laziness, her choices, her lack of reasoning and her horrible decision making, while others used it as a "class warfare" forum.



Two of those responses can be seen at the following links... one titled "An Open Letter to Millenials Like Talia…" and another titled "An Open Letter To The Whiny Employee Who Wrote The Open Letter To Yelp’s CEO."

The reason I highlight those two specifically out of some of the other great responses is the same reason I headlined this with "most millennials," rather than all of them, because both of these responses come from people around the same age as "Talia," but explain how they were willing to work to achieve their goals rather than expect everything to be handed to them and then whine publicly when it wasn't.

We at ANP have heard from readers that have had to obtain second jobs, taken on 60-70+ hour work weeks, are so exhausted they stop in to say hi in the comment section and tell everyone they miss them, but they have to work to survive. We have seen readers band together and help those that have had medical emergencies, so we understand that times are hard.... but I have no sympathy for those that bitterly complain when their own choices are the cause of their suffering, and refuse to take personal responsibility for those choices.

"Talia" is the perfect example of why most millennials will not survive an economic downturn will not be able to function when it all hits the fan, whatever the event or cause, and will be a burden on society, most likely, for the rest of their lives.

Perhaps the most ironic part of the "Talia" screed is that on her Twitter account, her profile includes the following statement "better at thinking about things than actually doing them."

Trump, Sanders Expose Corrupt Process - DNC Cheats And GOP Party Establishment Has Been Hoisted By Their Own Petard

Politics used to be boring to write about and after writing straight politics for a couple of elections, many simply burn out. Campaign promises were made that candidates knew would and could never be kept, always dependent on what internal polling told them what to say, who to speak to and what to do, with an electorate acting like mindless sheep and allowing party establishment and the media to tell them who to favor and who to vote for, then the howls of "they didn't keep their promises" all the way until the next election.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Until this election cycle.................. Enter Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.

It has been liberating to see voters refusing to be led like sheep to the slaughter by the MSM, it has been entertaining to see the party establishment aka the "political class" wringing their hands and chasing their tails, and more importantly it has been enlightening to millions, in both parties, to have the roof of hell ripped off to expose the demonic puppet-masters that have been pulling their strings all these years.

While this is not an endorsement for either man, we do endorse what they have done for and to the political process and how they have awakened millions to the corrupt antics that have dominated the process for so long, so kudos go to both men whether we agree with their stances or not.



BERNIE SANDERS - GAME RIGGED FOR HILLARY CLINTON

Starting with Sanders on the Democratic side, who has risen despite the DNC rigging the game in favor of Clinton and despite the media's constant theme of "Hillary is inevitable."

Bernie Sanders supporters have learned a very harsh lesson after just two primaries, one in Iowa which Hillary Clinton barely won with 49.9 percent to 49.6 percent, and one in New Hampshire where Bernie crushed Hillary by 60.4 percent to 38 percent, yet Hillary  took 29 delegates in Iowa to Sanders 21 and they both receieved 15 delegates from New Hampshire....... but the kicker is that Hillary already 394 delegates to Bernie's measley 44, with 4,325 delegates not yet allocated. 

A Democratic candidate needs 2,382 to win the party's nomination.

HOW DELEGATE MATH WORKS:

There are 2,472 delegates to the Republican Convention, and almost double that for Democrats: 4,762. A candidate becomes the party’s nominee when he or she secures a majority of delegates.

The parties allocate to each state a number of delegates based on population and a variety of other factors that vary state by state. In most states, candidates win delegates based on the votes they receive in primaries and caucuses. The Democratic Party calls these pledged delegates; Republicans call them bound delegates. These delegates are mainly split between at-large delegates, awarded based on the outcome of the statewide vote, and district-level delegates, determined by vote totals in each of the state’s congressional districts.

The tally also includes Democratic unpledged delegates, also known as superdelegates, and Republican unbound delegates from each state. These are party leaders and elected officials who are free to back any candidate they choose. They are shown on the graphic when they make their preference public and will change if they switch allegiance to another candidate.



Here is  why Sanders supporters are up in arms right now over the Sanders NH win that actually won Sanders nothing because  Clinton is still ahead:

 In the Democratic Party, you’re a superdelegate if you’re a member of the official party apparatus. That includes all current Democratic governors and members of Congress as well as former presidents, former vice presidents, state party chairs, and that sort of thing. In the Democratic Party, superdelegates can vote for whichever candidate they wish regardless of how the state that they come from votes. (Source)

The Democratic party establishment, specifically the superdelegates do not have to abide by the will of the voters and can technically "select" Clinton rather than "elect" a nominee.



DONALD TRUMP - GOP HOISTED BY THEIR OWN PETARD

How does a man who has more money than most of the population sees in a lifetime, in a time when "class warfare" has created divisions across the nation, manage to appeal to almost every demographic of the electorate?

NY Post explains how "Donald Trump has invented a new way to win"

America hasn’t been great for the working class for decades — which is why “Make America Great Again” is a great slogan for a guy who’s talking tough on the problems that blue-collar Americans (and more than a few middle-class folks) see as killing them.

And getting attention — unbelievable attention — even as he breaks all the “establishment” rules.

Because he’s playing and winning by blue-collar rules, and what are you gonna do about it?

Of course, he also has to show he’s for real. Why should these voters trust him? Answering those unspoken doubts is why Trump doubles down on his promises — he’s not just going to build a wall, but make Mexico pay.

First off, it’s funny — always a plus. More, it says he’ll damn well at least get the wall built.

It’s the same for the huge tariffs on Chinese imports and so on: Politicians never deliver everything they promise, but the higher they aim, the more likely you’ll actually get something.

And if you start negotiations with a reasonable offer, you wind up with President Obama’s lousy Iran nuclear deal.

BINGO - Trump rewrote the rules, refused to follow the "unspoken" rules of conduct, of campaigning, of just about everything.





The expression "hoisted by your own petard" means "Injured by the device that you intended to use to injure others," and it is exactly what the GOP establishment has done to themselves.

The difference between Republican "Superdelegates" and Democratic ones is the reason that the GOP party establishment cannot steal the election or rig it the way the Democratics are attempting to do for Clinton against Sanders, without a brokered convention, because as of 2012, "Each state's delegation (other than delegates elected on a primary ballot) is bound by the results of the state's presidential preference vote."

That rule was fortified by amendments made at the Republican convention of 2012, ironically to handicap insurgent candidates in the future. It was a response to the phenomenon of Texas Rep. Ron Paul winning nearly all of the delegates in states like Maine, Minnesota and Nevada, in spite of losing wider initial contests in those states.

This year, experts observe, that rule could function in a manner opposite the way it was intended, by preventing party leaders from voting against a candidate of whom they don't approve.

Which is why we are seeing new headlines, such as this one from the Politico, which blares "Campaigns secretly prep for brokered GOP convention."

The primaries and caucuses that dot the nominating calendar and whose results drive headlines will decide whom most delegates are bound to vote for on the first ballot at the Republican National Convention. Should the first ballot fail to produce a nominee, the outcome of the convention will depend on results of the parallel primary now underway for the hearts and minds of delegates.

Emphasis mine and that is important, should Trump not be able to the 1,237 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination on the first ballot at the convention, then the delegates are no longer bound by the results of the state's presidential preference vote, and become no better than the Democratic Superdelegates that can go against the will of their states' voters to "select" the candidate of their choice.



In that article they detail possible behind the scenes scenarios and options as last ditch attempts to prevent Trump from winning the GOP presidential nomination should he continue his massive leads, including the following:

One former RNC chairman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, suggested another soft power that the national party could assert over the outcome. The RNC’s Committee on Arrangements controls the logistics of conventions, including the allocation of staging space for campaigns’ whipping operations. In the heat of a floor fight, such details could become meaningful.

Another former chairman, Michael Steele, thinks that is a very bad idea:

But another former chairman, Michael Steele, warned that any attempt by party insiders to nudge the nomination to a favored candidate would be disastrous. “If they want to monkey around with this process and try to fix it, they’re asking for all hell to break loose,” he said.

“Any inkling that state party officials or national party officials are colluding and conspiring to prevent a particular individual from getting the nomination,” he said, “will basically create Armageddon with the base.”


BOTTOM LINE

As long as the political process is rigged with the corupt party establishment "selecting" our nominees rather than allowing the populace to "elect" them, the political process will always be corrupted by the establishment leaders.

Many believe it is too late to save America and I do not have a crystal ball to predict whether they are right or wrong, but I can say with 100 percent certainty that the process can never be fixed unless the populace understand that it is broken to begin with.

People are awakening to that corruption, refusing to allow themselves to be led like sheep to the slaughter as with previous elections, and whether Sanders or Trump make it to the end or not and become the nominees of their respective parties, they have won in that aspect, because the general population now see very clearly just how broken the system truly is.
